5 days to go!

So we are coming to the final few days. Last few days have been roller coaster ride. I have been a bit stressed doing the last bits of stuff like seating charts, place cards , programs...
Last bit of things to do is to iron the sash.

My dress is all good and everything is ready to go.

Cant believe im going to be Mrs Kit soon!

Paper flower cones

So i  spent hours last night making these cute little things to hold the rose petals

 THese are made of lace doilies and its easy!
1. Put some glue at one end of the doily
2. Roll them into a cone shape
3. Press the paper together so that it sticks
4. Glue a bow onto the cone!

I made 40! Now doesnt that look wedding-y???

22 days to go

OMG time flies...only 22 days to go. What happened to the last few months!!!
Anyway, we are at the final stage of our planning now. I've got lots of stuff to do but am very pleased with how things turned out!

I've written my vows too and made the 2nd flower girl dresss....Things left to do are place cards, favour boxes...

I can't wait to be Jason's wife!

Makeup hair trial 2

I had my 2nd trial today and i love it!!! Its elegant and it's me!

Ok the eyelash is a bit crazy but that can be fixed! Ill give her different eyelash to use... :D

Bridesmaid + Flowergirl

My bridesmaid dress has arrived so i put this look together with flowergirl dress. I bought the bridesmaid dress from lightinthebox.com and i must say i am quite impressed with the quality!!! the colour is lighter than the photo but its well made.
I got matching orange heels from isabella anselmi and the flower girls get golden glitter shoes from cotton on!!!!

I been keeping eye out for accessories and i bought this on saturday as it was on sale. I got it for NZD75

I removed the left and right pearl cos it looks funny. Leaving the middle bit. Now its more wedding worthy

Invites

OMG this is such a pain. We do not have an invite and i'm leaving it to him to decide but i think the chance of getting it done via him is low.....lol
so i decided to do a draft myself

The first card is the main wedding details while the 2nd and 3rd cards are just additionals.

I  kinda like the full aqua color compared to all white.

Now i just gotta ask Jason if he likes it!

Favours

So i was experimenting with favours. I made alphabet cut cookies with fondant icing.

The orange needs to be more orange but because i didn't have orange icing color, i had to mix red with yellow and i missed the mark.
TOOK me two hours to make this lot. I'm not sure if i'm ready to make 400 of them (if i give 4 to each guest)......gulp

Maybe we can buy m&ms instead hehe

Makeup trial take 2

So i've rebooked another trial on 1 Oct. And i've given specific instructions.

Hair and makeup trial

I got my hair and makeup trial done on saturday! The artist is Rebecca maree. This is my inspiration a low bun with a side sweep bang.

 This is what she comes up with:

 Im not a fan of the curly mess at the back and its too much in the middle and not low enough

SIGH i certainly wasnt wow-ed by her work. The makeup is average. The undereye concealer wasn't smoothed properly .The eyebrow wasn't done properly either.

Im not sure what i'll do now. I think ill need to talk to her for another trial or switch artist. URGH

Horsehair Sash

I saw Vera wang's horsehair sash and it's quite nice so i ordered some horsehair ribbon from ebay and made this:

I think its quite pretty!

But im not gonna wear it for my wedding cos its not me hehe! I'm going to sell it on etsy.

Accessories finalized

Ive finalized the accessories for my wedding day (not the asian one)

I bought that flower for NZD19 at an asian shop 30% off hehe....Im keeping it simple and my hair will be loosely curled.

Ahhh cant wait

Now i just need to finalize accesorizing for asian wedding -_-

One thing i avoid choosing is the bridesmaid dresses! My sisters are all so picky.

I have trouble looking for headpieces. I collected a few hair styles that i quite like.
