Wedding Cake

Right so it's time to decide on the wedding cake as December is busy season and all the cake people pressuring me to decide. I narrowed it down to
1. Zhakita Cakes
2. Sweet bites
3. Ma Cherie macaroon tower.

Macaroon tower is only around 380++ so we were considering it but i was a tad scared it will come out tacky. I was deciding the two photos above and decided I like the 2nd photo more (ribbon cake).

Anyway, went to have consultation with sweet bites. She quoted me 610 initially. We had a good time designing the cake i want. So, in the end the design is like the picture above but with
 - sparkly blue ribbon + rhinestone brooch on top
 - rhinestone ribbon around each tier.

She sent me quote this morning and said she will give it to me for $590 (even though i added rhinestone ribbon to each tier). So that was awesome!!! I tried cherry ripe flavour and its so good. So thinking of going for
Tier 1 - Cherry ripe
Tier 2 - Cookies & cream
Tier 3 - White Chocolate mud

I checked Zhakita cakes and their finish doesn't look as nice. So will probably go with Sweet bites.

I have booked my trial hair & make up for august. My gown will arrive end of this month in hong kong. will get them to send it to me. And i will book decorations/florists soon!!
